What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Got my windows tinted last week, 43% on windshield, 20% front, nothing on the back. Matches very well with the oem tinted glass. Also picked up this avs aeroskin for a steal from this Amazon/overstock pallet place last weekend. Bought it for $16.99, then they gave us 50% off our whole order. Making this a whole ass $8.50 buy. Still on the fence about actually using it. Anyone else have one?


Also please ignore my awful paint, my backing plate for my DA fell apart. I'm waiting on a new one to arrive.

 

im on the fence with them. I like them but then again hate them, very odd. Also my main thing is when you wash youre truck. can you get between there and the deflector to clean the edge of the hood? One reason i dont want a Victory roof rack or anything

Added a little grogu bobble head to my dash. Used magnets so I can take him off or swivel him to face outside.

 

That's my gripe as well. I may end up just selling it. I just can't decide. It's nice that it's form fit, as I couldn't stand the old style of "bug shields". That picture it still has the factory plastic on it

 

let me know how everything plays out with your lift and tire clearance. i am on stock suspension with 285/70/17 KO2's, with +12mm offset on my wheels, and with some VERY minor trimming to the front bumper (to relocate the fender well bolt forward) i have eliminated rubbing on flat surfaces. I do want to offroad soon and am looking at inexpensive options to help with rubbing under compression. I know when i go for a legit suspension lift I'm gonna b e spending 3k+ and im just not ready to bite that bullet yet.

 

did this disturb BSM sensors at all???

 

Chrome bumper caps generally indicate a lack of the sensor tech

 

Heck yeah, man! I need to do this too. im so tired of the tin can sound when you shut the back doors.... Plus you get the road noise reduction, and improved audio quality from your sound system. so many benefits

 

Ah, that would make sense. I was considering covering my bumper with black rather than the cement that they currently are. i guess i could paint em.

 

Was driving down the road today in 96-deg weather and happened to put my hand on my black dashboard….. it was red hot and adding heat to the interior

So I ordered a Dash Cover

I had Toyota install the OEM one before it left the lot. Then drove straight to the tint shop to get the windows done. Next was vent shades. These mods are the 1st thing I do for every vehicle I have had.

 

Installed a part-time ladder rack that can be removed when the OEM bed cover is on.

 

Close! They’re race distances. I had a 100 also made up in advance for when the time finally comes.
