Maybe a way to not contract dysentery in the first place.. but I'm sure drinking Pabst while already suffering from dysentery will just kill you faster lol

This is sort of true also sorta not. They literally run the fuel through their casing, it flows over the brushes and through the armature windings and such, so if there's enough fuel to run the engine still then the pump has plenty of cooling.

I know the 80 series has an FPCU of sorts. It almost never goes full speed, you can hear when it does, its beyond loud. Does it on super hot days during hot starts to combat fuel boil in the lines.

Yea western WA is fucked bad. They had to shut down 2 lanes of I-5 south due to road failure. We had rolling brownouts for while Sunday and Monday due to the power draw and some local people are driving all the way to CA in an attempt to buy AC units cause there's nothing available anywhere.

Thankfully our apt is small and the wife already had a window unit for the main living area.. I bought a portable AC unit a couple weeks ago cause of how hot my upstairs bedroom gets so I brought it downstairs to help her window unit not work so hard. Even with those 2 running together we still couldn't get it cooler than 78, although that's WAY better than the 113 it was on Monday lol

Doublely thankful it's only 68 today, this warehouse I'm working in was a damn oven earlier in the week. Monday and yesterday was bad enough the owner shut down work early so we could all go home

Wow yeah I can't imagine going through a heat wave like that with no AC.

78 is what we usually keep our house at, any lower than that and the central air will basically be running constantly which of course becomes an energy bill from hell. Doesn't help that our old house is about as well sealed up as the Titanic is right now.

113˚ inside of a home goddamn awful, that's 12 degrees away from the warming temp on our oven lol. Jesus

yeah we've been mid 80s - 90 most of this week. Partly why its so weird to hear that it's so crazy hot that far north.

We get hot over here, and so does western WA, there's always some 90+* days. But this is a long streak for sure

94 in Tucson right now. Shit's nuts when the PNW is hotter than the desert.

    Pulling the starter.

Brake line brackets were cake, plug and battery cable as well.

There are two bolts that hold the starter and they're both really on there with no room for leverage.

If you pull the bracket on the exhaust manifold, you gain like 3 inches of clearance so really you're still stuck using swivels and extensions

113 was what it was at the airport down the road from my house. My upstairs apt was over 120 inside :(

The King County area always has multiple 90 to 100 days every summer and people act surprised and buy the shit out of portable AC units like the same thing didn't happen last year. I think the attitude is that it wont happen again, even though in the 18 years I've lived in WA it has happened during all of them.
