@Speedytech7 Does this 200 series LCA and ball joint design look like
Good to know. Maybe the humming warning came from the pump losing efficiency and the FPCU was telling the pump to run full speed until the additional power drain fried the FPCU. The diehards would snag an FPCU from junkyards to keep around as a spare.

Side note. I keep a clean working spare MAF around for everything I own except the Civic that has some strange setup. Mostly because I don't want to wait or have to pay a high price on short notice for a MAF should one fail. I usually rotate the spares into service with an air filter change.

Yeah I used to live in a tiny 1 bdrm apartment when I was in school, had black leather furniture that was a hand-me-down from my dad when he got new stuff.

Apartment only had one window AC unit in the bedroom, nothing in the living room.

Sitting on black leather in a 110˚+ heave wave with no AC is no fun

Partly why I don't get the appeal of leather seats in vehicles, even with AC it still sucks to get into when its hot.

I've been here 12 years now and every year is a guaranteed min 2 weeks of AC needing weather... I really don't understand why the other yahoos don't all have a portable unit in storage

I don't blame you, MAFs are a good spare to keep around. I have one for the taco and my LC doesn't have a MAF it has a VAF which isn't failure prone. Most early civics use speed density metering with a MAP sensor and a temp sensor instead of a MAF.

Only if you have some sort of inferior POS vehicle that doesn't have a ball chiller

The only Jeep that I've driven was like the one in this picture. I had a buddy that had one to pull his boat. He also used it to get out from living down a mountain road when snow would be on the road for a month at a time.

I drove it a couple of times. I don't remember anything good or bad about it. It was just big and drank a lot of gas during a gas crisis.

I think that’s how I did it too, but it’s been 4 years since I messed with a starter, I’d be fine to not touch one for another lifetime too

I was ok with leather until the first time I drove at an AutoX. Sliding around on leather seats was a pain in the ass in that setting.

I remember owning a couple of German cars with this MB Tex type perforated vinyl/leather seats. It wasn't that bad in the summer.

I'll try that method in a bit.

I put my jack in storage so I can't lift it to pull the tire off. Though I may have room to get in there comfortably.

Looking for my 1/2" drive extensions so I can go straight forward over the cross member with a breaker bar for the leverage.
