Think it’s 6” leds in the blinker spot?

 

Radiator is super easy. Just a couple bolts and remove bottom shroud. Clamps for the hoses.

 

100% agree.. I was trying to imply I want MORE eggs in this omelet lol

Radiator is a walk in the park.

It's the lack of leverage on this top bolt but I found my extensions so we'll see.

 

shit thats how i felt about the starter, just more awkward wrenching position. But hell the auto store gave me the wrong rad to start and i had to return, so that may play a role

I could reach that one through my engine bay up top, thats why it was easy for me lol

 

I first got exposure to car enthusiast owner's clubs back in 2002 for an antique car. Vbulletin forums that I saw were new and mostly for computer support self-help groups. One thing I quickly learned that the enthusiast clubs have a level of tribal knowledge that is hard to match.

If an owner that has access to that tribal knowledge, they can get good service out of just about any vehicle that started life with good materials. You just need to know about the hand full of gotcha items to avoid trouble.

 

Yeah, I had to change a starter at work and it was about 15 mins of work. Just the fact that you're on your back and can't get the bolts removed with full turns makes it a challenge.

On a 2 wheel drive 3.4 its easy

On a 4 wheel drive 3.4, its a whole different story

I read on an auto it's even harder than it is on a manual

Broke the bolt loose finally



6 point 14mm to a swivel, to a 6" extension to a 12" extension to a 5" extension to another 5" extension to a 24" breaker bar

FS: 2004 Tacoma. Low miles. Never off road. No low ballers. I know what I got.

 

Zane and Jaxon are brave souls or have Dan sized hands if they went through the wheel well.

The red shows the area the bolt is for the starter (top bolt).

Yellow shows how little clearance there is just behind it; exhaust manifold is in the way not to mention a bracket in that area.

 

I want to say I did it at one point with a basic 3/8 drive ratchet and wrench set but I have no idea how that could have happened based on that pic
