2001 with TRD rims, what lug nuts???

    What lug nuts is everyone using on their first gen tacomas that are sporting the new oem TRD rims. The 17x7 rims. I am looking for a set in black and the stock chrome ones are showing their age.

    I was thinking about painting them, but the paint would eventually flake off. Probably when putting them on.

    Just paint the tops once installed, you only see that part anyways.

    Even if you go with painting and it flakes off, just touch it up with some paint and q tip. I wonder if there is a cap we can buy that slides over each lug nut. $77 for a black set could go to other useful mods.
