Full brake and rotor job, about to finish installing remaining pads on passenger side and a monsoon just dropped on me. Rain and hail. Waiting for it to chill out so I can go finish up my job! Good old driveway mechanic work...

This was a hot pain in the ass and quite a bit more time consuming than I anticipated.

But as I was fighting the headliner back in trying to beat the rain and losing I realized I couldn't even hear the raindrops on the roof anymore when it used to sound like a mix between a snare drum and a tin roof.

I hope the dynapad resist heat as good as it claims.

Went for as close to 100% coverage as I could manage for heat resistance.

When the rain lets up doors and rear wall to follow, floor when I get my rubber "carpet" in.

Yes it's part of my weight loss program...

Wrenching out in 105˚ weather and shed 5lbs of water weight in 2.5 hours!

Seriously beats when it was 118˚ a couple weeks back and I said "oil change can fucking wait, hell nah"

Yeah the Dynamat is for sound deadening, but the Dynaliner is for rejecting sound and heat from outside.

I read a lot of good things about both and decided to give it a try as I have tried the "do it yourself" approach with little success.

Figured it's time to do it right.

Major difference, though I can't speak for heat yet as it was overcast all day.

I finally got to use my rear facing horns on an oblivious Prius driver today. The look of surprise was priceless

Installed a shorty antenna and committed to doing a 2in - 2.5in lift. But before the suspension install, I need to tidy up some fail points.
