Removal of bed is necessary in my opinion.
We used the plasma to melt most of those rivets and oem brackets off. Then a flappy disk to make it flat. Youll actually see the O for the rivet once its flat to the frame. Then an air hammer will knock it right out

When we installed it 4 guys got it done. It was rough though, I think 4 is the minimum, maybe 3 huge guys. It weighs about 300lbs but its all on top and its awkwardly shaped.

Thanks for the offer, Ill hit you up if necessary.

Ahh yes, use someone elses truck as a guinea pig hahaha jk. Hopefully it works but either way we will figure it out.

Probably no different than pulling my rack and tent. But I can separate them at least. But the tent is beef cake heavy.

Made some more tweaks to the back bumper. Mounted my AT Overland 5lb propane bottle holder on the side of the jerry can swingout. Found a 5lb bottle in stock at a local RV shop and found the jerry cans in stock at Tractor Supply. Not 100% sure I like the location of the propane, it hangs a little too far off the side and blocks the drivers tail/brake light a little but its not the widest part of the truck and its shielded from shit flying off the tires so its probably fine, just need to lock it and get a lock for the valve. Also got a can of bear spray and mounted it to the GFC frame. Camping at 11,300 in Colorado tomorrow so I figure this and a side arm will hopefully be enough protection. :infantry:

Anyone here interested in front seat Rough Country seat covers? I'm wanting to get something for the back seat of my truck for the dogs, but can't seem to find them for sale for just the rear, only as a set.

Would love to find someone local that may be interested in splitting the cost for the set, and getting the fronts for a bit cheaper than usual.

We'll be somewhere north of Durango on Friday night, then around the Silverton/Telluride/Ouray areas until the 10th...hopefully Black Bear opens on the 4th like the FS says!

Damn, thats going to be amazing. I spent all of high school/college going to Telluride and the surrounding areas numerous times throughout the year. Id love to live there full time some day. Black Bear is a cool trail to do for the view and just so you can say you've done it but there are way more fun/challenging trails around. I wish I had more time on this trip, Id try to link up with you guys but 5 days is more than I was expecting to have off this weekend so Im happy.

The view is the only reason to do BB in my mind...we plan on tackling the more technical stuff instead of the Gram/Overland Bound places

Sucks we won't be able to link up, man...next time...have a good trip!

thank you! I was looking for a tight-fitting cover option to protect the seats, but I also have a dog hammock that’ll be used for the super messy situations.

regardless, partnered up with Atl (not Dave) and have the RC’s ordered!

I’ve got the RC’s in my truck. They look great but the fronts need some attention-to-detail to install properly.

Yeah, I'll be keeping the backs, front seats are going to @Atl-atl

I'm excited to just have a quick and easy option for the road to keep the rear seats protected from the dogs. Drove me crazy in the old Colorado. Front seats, I'm good going without the covers, at least for now.

AZ Transplant from Atlanta - hoping the Hawks can pull off a couple more and make it to the finals as well.

Either way - seeing either of these with a game on the schedule in July, I can't be mad.
