    When I looked into a Solar electric system the major downside was till everything is paid for with the grants and rebates unless you just open the brief case and start handing packs of $100.00 bills to pay in cash.

    The equipment needs replaced about when it is finally paid for.

    Things always change but lots of improvements are needed is that industry.

    Solar is great, but its not ready for everyone yet, still need better storage technology and better efficiency, for small off grid places it makes alot of sense but if your trying to power your 2000sqft home unless your rich its not up to par yet, still really wish people weren't so afraid of nuclear. Just my 2 cents from someone who works with a lot of power engineers. :thumbsup:

    People are too scared of 1960s nuclear plants/technology that were never designed to run for more than 20-30 years before being replaced/rebuilt only to be pushed further and further beyond their realistic life span until something happens

    I have no problem With Nuclear power.

    The issue was not be able to build new plants since way back!!

    Just like Vehicles you can only keep them going so long till it is no longer cost effective.
