I learned very early on in my car hobby to not keep track of money spent on vehicle modifications. Keeping track of every dollar spent just makes the hobby not fun anymore.

We all know vehicles aren't investments 99.999% of the time and that as an appliance, something 10% of the purchase price will do 90% of the same things. I'd rather just try not to stress too much over it. Purchase price is stressful enough.

Its their most compact M18 impact. Its good for compact places that are low- medium torque specs. Im getting this and a mid torque M18 fuel impact wrench and there really isnt anything those together cant do. Plus even if you just sell the impact which is worth 180 you get 2 awesome batteries and a charger for 120(worth 180ish).

I paid 34500 for mine with the budget for a Pro. I put the extra 10k on
Front and rear sway bars, magnuson supercharger, 2nd gen TRD Pro wheels, TRD Pro exhaust and CAI, Avid Off road Grille guard, and small cosmetic stuff.

it’s way more fun than the Pro now:)

Lol. I've owned several wranglers and as crazy as it sounds never really wanted to mod it... then I get the Tacoma and it's a different ball game.

This on its own was a super intelligent way of doing things.

I'm glad I've got all the features that come in the top trim TRDOR package, but with towing our travel trailer, I wouldn't mind the extra oomph of a supercharger. But then I'm knocking on the door of a full size with more capability overall. But then I have no use for a full size 95% of the time when I'm just driving to work and parking.

    Damn you fiscal responsibilities!

What’s even scarier is writing your post, then posting it, and then remembering the stuff you left off!

Oh ya, there was the engine tune, the bed mat, the radio knobs……. Wowzers is right!

I am fortunate that I don’t really have to keep track of every nickel and dime in and out of the bank account…..

As for my extra guitar purchases…….

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
I have every receipt in a folder and its thick. I can say off the top of my head over $4k just in lighting :annoyed:. I only have 1 extra light most people see. Some members have a lot of high end off road lights that could easily double or triple that amount.

    Tallied up my receipts from 4wheelparts and extremeterrain and I'm sitting in the $7k range;

BA hiline front bumper with 20" lightbar and smittybilt winch installed.(nerve wracking cutting my new truck for that bumper fitment)

MBRP 3" black powder side exhaust

    Decked storage system

    Truxedo lopro tonneau

OME BP-51 suspension kit(heavy lift) still en route

    Pedal Commander PC38

    &predator tube steps(now somewhat regret)

Still deciding on wheels, tires, bed rack, and rtt among other things

I've done all the work myself to date although I may have the shop install the suspension kit. Truth be told this is more fun than I've had in a long time modding my limited AG . . . The only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys :)

$80 for mud guards and that will be it. Never felt the need for any add ons for any vehicle I've owned.

    nearly $8k in modifications lol.

No damage, no irreversible modifications, and I have kept every single thing that I either took off or replaced. I can go back to stock easily.
