so this is a really dumb question, but i am wanting to order a muffler for my 2008 2.7L and i can not find an exact inlet and outlet size for the muffler anywhere. i am almost 100% sure that it is 2.5 inch inlet and outlet but i dont want to order it and find out that i am wrong.

lol. for the aero turbine, the 2.5 inlet and outlet muffler will be fine. at the exhaust shop to get it put on, theyll cut your old one out, add some more pipe to fill the gap, and size all the pipes so they fit nicely.

okay, so the one i found says it fits any exhaust from 2-2.5 inches. suppose that will work good wont it? also with the center inlet and offset outlet, this one is pretty much straight through. will it mount up good?

i would highly recommend the k&n cold air intake. its a really easy install and it gave me a lot more sound, plus i feel some better throttle response and a little more power, low end and top end. but as for the sound, my truck with the stock exhaust is loud enough with just the k&n that people ask me if i have an exhaust on it. i ordered a lc engineering throttle body spacer last night and hope that it gives me a little more intake as well. maybe sound too.

You might want to search about thrttle body spacers on here. some people just use them as paper wieghts because they dont do much.

yeah, thats what someone told me, so im gonna try it out and see form myself. i have heard several people say that it does help with power though and i have a friend who put one on his v6 trailblazer and he loves it.

yeah, i got a little confused when you said that as to if the 2525 was gonna fit.
