I kept buying on the dip. I also got out of about 1/2 my positions "early" but they still all had over 400% profit when I sold. If I'd had the balls to hold all of them until the end I probably could have 200 free shares of NVDA right now. lol

It’s the only donut around here like it. Everywhere who has “original glazed” sucks. We have Krispy Kreme, Dunkin’, Duck, and Rise. They are all “cake donuts” except KK. I’ll eat any of them…but none of them can compete with Krispy Kreme

edit: also daylight donuts is around here. Still too cakey

I live 2min from Duck and 20min from Krispy Kreme and I’ll take the extra 18minute drive any day for the better donut :cookiemonster:

Dunkin is only good in airports for those 3 AM flights. Dunkin does have solid iced coffees though. Only on occasion for me. Try not to build too much of a caffeine tolerance. 300 mg twice a week in my pre workout only on leg day is my current caffeine consumption.

If you’ve never had a just made warm Krispy Kreme glazed donut you’ve never had a real donut. But you have to get them fresh, 2 days old in the supermarket is a no no.
Cake donuts are just that, cake.

I used to live next to a Krispy Kreme. Not the ones that get a truck delivery in the morning either, a legit one that has the conveyor belt of glaze. The hot now sign stayed on at this one. I could easily eat multiple dozen at once. There’s actually a race here too where you run 2.5km eat a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts then run 2.5km back. It’s lined with garbage cans for the vomit. I don’t run, so I’ve never done it but I’ll gladly take part in the eating portion.

edit: I see you’re too from NC, maybe you already know all of this

Yes, a small town I grew up in actually had a Krispy Kreme but it’s gone now. We used to skip lunch at school on occasion and split a dozen fresh made KK’s. Now where I live the nearest one is 30 minutes away I miss them! Try to get them whenever I’m near one.

Southern maid donuts > anything. Dallas local chain.
But with that said, I noticed that in dallas and anywhere Ive been east of there, donut shops are plentiful and on every corner. Here in Phoenix and the places I’ve been on west coast I haven’t noticed as many. I also noticed that the average citizen was a bit heavier in dallas than here in Phoenix. Coincidence? Probably. Still kinda cracks me up though.

Homemade soft shelled tacos for dinner tonight. They are topped with 50-50 sour cream/ salsa and then A liberal application of Tapatio

I’m a fan of blueberry cake donuts. Especially when they’re on the discount rack at the grocery store because the expiration date is two days out. They never last that long once they’re home sitting on the counter anyways.
