    Yep, just took a palm sander with 80 grit then wiped it down with acetone. Never had a problem with the flares I did over a year ago

    I really have to paint my new tailgate and throw this piece of crap in the metal bin…

    Ok. Quick question. Anyone got pointers on getting this damn stub shaft out of the diff?

    I've done it before. I thought I just popped it out with a flathead screw driver, but it's not going the way I remember.

    Trying to get this clamshell ready to send to ECGS.

    Replaced the plunger and contacts in my starter.

    Bit of a pain in the ass getting the top bolt off but nothing 26" of extensions and a swivel couldn't take care of :laughing:

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.
    Just pry a bit harder. I usually use 2 pry bars or long big screw drivers. One constant pressure and one to give a good jolt downwards.

    Actually, I got it... I used ECGS method #2

    I think thats how I did it last time. Once it pops out from tapping on it from the other side, you pry it the rest of the way.
