Was thinking about doing the dome light but sometimes I just want the cargo lights on.

Planning to do courtesy/rock lights in with the dome.

I cleaned and disassembled my tonneau cover. I order a SoftTopper which shows up this weekend. The tonneau was great, but it no longer fits my lifestyle.

Hit some light trails, added a few new patches to collection and updated the key fob and battery.

I may have my old OEM taillights still around to donate to the cause if 12-15 tailights are the same? One of them was cracked, dont remeber which one. If they'd work and you're interested let me know. I can look in my storage and see if the passenger one is good.

Done by me: decals, plastidip, and vinyl. More to come. Not done by me: Icon front/rear suspension; Total Chaos UCA’s; Method wheels/34” Falken tires; Prinsu cab rack/LED light bar; V1Air compressor piped to a 2.5 gallon underbed tank; Pelfreybilt front/rear bumpers; Smittybilt front winch.
I’m going to have to do some research on that! We frequently have 95-110 degree days in summer here(combined usually with -00% humidity), and anything over 95 is rough. Rougher on me because my body starts saying hells naw over 65.

Ripped out the roof seal strips and frost king "sound deadener" and a whole roll of aluminum tape which I will say made it tolerable but certainly isn't half a good as the real deal. Also trying something new with my rear vent which included sealing the hell out of if with half a tube of FIPG, apparently I have had a tiny leak there as my plywood sub shelf right next to it had some water damage.

    PXL_20210701_073510666~2.jpg

Took out the open cell foam blocks (light gray blocks) and installed some scraps from the Dynaliner in the vents to hopefully baffle it some more than the open cell but get rid of the pressure spike when flipping the A/C to outside intake.

    PXL_20210701_070256355.jpg

Got the rear Dynamat and Dynapad installed. I had literally just barely enough 3M Spray 90 adhesive (I was holding the can getting the last tiny intermittent spurts out as pressure was dropping as the can emptied to get the last few spots that needed coverage) to put up the pad which I think is a layer of mass loaded vinyl sandwiched between two layers of acoustic foam.

Apparently there's a shortage on 3M Spray 90 right now? I went to half a dozen places and all of them were sold out. Amazon doesn't seem to have it like it used to and the listing I did see wants like $40 for a can!

I actually found a guy on Craigslist he was advertising it as a "Brown Tacoma Bumper" I knew it had to be Pyrite Mica. Bought it for $100.00. He had just installed a high clearance rear bumper so he was selling his stock one.

LOL, I could think of a few bodies to go there. I had a tree removed and the stump ground up. The saw dust filled up my brothers dually to remove, That was a lot of saw dust and it went about 6inches deep. Im sure after this top soil settles from some rain, i'll need some more to level it out

Adorable kiddo! I have that same cover, it's gotta be 8+ years old. The locking/latching mechanism failed and I had to replace it, and now the powder coat is chipping off quite a bit. But I still really like it.

This thread is trouble man, I see all of everyones projects and think oh man, that is a good idea! And that one.. and... rear facing horns! That's a great idea. Now I'm thinking about hitting up our local u-pick and finding some other brand car horns.

Yesterday I got under my truck and made yall a video:

    https://share.icloud.com/photos/0UyvblRrYBvXhPXM6tgHBSpHQ

I'm going to replace the bushing this weekend, but I'm realizing the clicking/clunking Ive been suspecting was my sway bar was at least half this thing. Just curious how bad this is. Probably should have replaced this before I even lifted the thing! Oh well. Upside is, just recently changed my diffs fluid and there was almost no metal on the magnet, so it hasn't exploded yet.
