TRD Pro AT Shift Knob

Was looking online for a TRD Pro shift knob and ran across this one on Aliexpress.com. Appears to be the real deal (original part # in description and on the box). I think it was around $25 shipped. Took a couple of weeks for it to arrive, but it beats the $85+ that you pay online/Amazon or the $45 that you pay for a knockoff…

Was it a red TRD logo on the knob? If so it's a knock off. The OEM TRD logo isn't red. That said if it works and looks good who cares!

Does the package say where it’s made? Just bought one from a reputable place and the package says made in Japan. Damn good deal either way. I thought everything on that site was fake, lol.

 

I’m pretty sure it’s a replica. I threw the box away, but can probably dig it up.

Yeah the OEM has a white retaining piece at the bottom but still you scored!

My neighbor ordered one from them and Its very nice. In fact it feels nicer than my stock Sport handle. I ordered two.

 

Does yours have the engraved trd or flat? My neighbors is flat, I see where this one is engraved or stamped. Thats why I ordered.

Thank you. Hopefully I will get it in a week or so. I did order fsome fake Ridgid industries from a similar company and had it within a week from Alibaba. Great product, still going strong.

 

Basically the same as the $45 knockoff. The price difference is buying from a US-based seller (and getting it faster) vs. buying from China directly.

 

Pretty sure the $45 knockoff still comes from China. I can either pay some other dude to order it for me and pay him double the price or just order it myself and cut the price in half.

 

Can you post, or pm the link for the rigid knock-offs. The only set I could find had a minimum of 10 to buy.

I ordered two Pro shift handles for $46 hopefully I get the TRD stamping and just checked the status in an email they sent me. Looks like 10 days, however last time I ordered I got the package in 7 days from China. Wait till the guys that hated on everyone getting the fake Rigids reads this post,lmao! Its ok for everyone to buy the fake China Pro grill, or the Pro skid plate but when someone who buys something like the Rigids, look out. I get it that they are an American company but their lights are not made in USA, just designed here. Hell,I think all this stuff is made there in China, we just pay to buy it here faster and pay 100s more. Anything to save a buck. For the record I have never had a single Toyota fan ever ask if my lights are fake, just my grill which happens to be OEM along with the skid plate.
