Have these all lit up on my dash. Had my buddy read the code and it said driver rear wheel speed sensor. Replaced that and lights still on. Replaced harness and lights still on.

I had no problems until I backed down my driver and the garbage can was under the truck that cracked the wheel speed sensor. I’m wondering if something else broke in the bearing that the sensor goes into?
    What is that part called?

    Thanks in advance.

Did you clear the code or just replace?

I am having the exact same issue. Replaced sensor, wire harness is fine and reads well on multi meter. I had my shop look at it and they said they think it’s the actual abs mod. Which is like 1500 bucks. I am hoping to try everything before that.

Could it be the actual sensor connection? Something with the Wheel bearings? With all the lights on I have no bsm, 4 wheel drive failure to engage warning (but seems 4x4 is actually still engaging).

I replaced the abs unit as well as a bad wheel barring. I did the abs unit first. So anyone trying this check your wheel bearings first. A lot cheaper than the abs mod.

yeah I went to one shop and they told me the abs module needed to be replaced.

My buddy who used to be a mechanic said it’s probably just the wheel bearing that went bad and to go to his buddy’s shop. He was right and it was the bearing. Still cost me $$.

Was wondering if you guys could help me out.
Today while driving home (it was raining) I got the check anti-lock brake system, check brake system and abs warning lights.
Took it to autozone to get it scanned and I got this codes86CB2FD4-7D92-4050-ACDF-FC327838FC03.jpg
What I found weird is that I got the codes at the same time and as you can see they are on opposite sides.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
If it makes any difference it’s a 3rd gen Tacoma, I did a visual inspection and the cables seem to be okay.

Awesome thread and very helpful but what should I do next if I have no voltage on harness side of s22 connector for right rear? Same at speed sensor connector on same side. Side note: I tried the jumper wire to short the two pins(4th holes from the right side on the top and bottom row)on obd2 port with ignition on and saw no change to any of the lights on the dash. All stayed the same. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I know Christmas is around the corner but I need to get this Christmas tree cluster taken care of. Plus I miss my cruise control

That truck looks like it was stuck on Midway Island and all the seagulls thought your truck was public enemy #1.

Did you ever get this figured out? I disabled email notifications so I don’t get on here as much as I wish I could. I’ll keep an eye out on this page to see if I can help.

Sorry to hijack but have a mystery situation with my abs light and parking brake light on. 08 auto sport. Fixed pass upper ball joint and parking brake light came on. Full brake fluid. No codes thrown. Check wire harnesses as next step?

I can't see how the ABS light would be on without a code. Are you sure you have a reader that is able to read ABS codes (cheaper readers can't read ABS codes)?

I have one for quick reads (though it's not THAT quick in reality - but it's easy), and I've read brake codes, so likely not a problem.

Can you read all 4 wheel speeds OK?
