I don't need it, but after looking at those saws I believe I should drill holes in concrete.

Drilling holes is apparently a good gig too. When I interned at a rock quarry, they driller there used to be in nuclear medicine, changed fields to become a quarry driller, and apparently made a whole lot more money after switching lol. Does get boring by hole #80 lmao

Those are pretty cool. I think the difference is that Ill need to trench to the drain line anyway so just a hole probably wouldn't be worth renting the saw.

Gotcha, yeah I was thinking about like a shower drain kinda thing, and sounds like you're thinking more of a trough to squeegee into. The trough does seem a bit more practical for squeegeeing sheets of water away

That's a horrible idea. What time?
In preparation for the drive through car wash?

You could always go super cheap with the wet/dry shop vac. but you'd loose the awesome cool factor of a drain in a big way.

I think the other difference is professional tools. Ground level slabs can have a pipe pushed underneath. Mine is under the basement so I need to dig up more than just the drain hole.

You may not have to go too much below the slab. The one we did in MI was only about 3" below the slab. And laid in crushed rock / paver base kind of mix. It wasn't that bad, but it was substantially longer.

Those CV seals in the diff are a pain in the butt to seat correctly. They're so finicky.

I did the passenger one and it took me 3 different seals because they kept tering. I hear the driver side is easier, but I've never done that one

Was a pain in the butt because mine had some rusty buildup between where the seal sat and the outside, so it kept tearing. Ended up scraping for 3 hours to get it all cleaned up, so not looking forward to round 2 on the driver side. Thankfully passenger isn't leaking after replacement

On the bright side, if I do blow it up from loosing fluid, thats a good excuse to get 4.88s to match the eventual 35s

    A thing or two...
Looks like a job for some scotch Brite. I'd go with red or white.

This one I did last summer with a pick and some fine sandpaper. It was really tough and built up, might have been a bit much for even scotchbrite. That passenger side I did seals fine now, so hopefully I can make the driver side work now
