Usually axle weights and ride height are enough to help set up your truck.

Are you trying to gather info to validate taco lean?

The lean is validated because our fuel tanks are setup parallel to the frame, favoring the driver side. We all know this can be fixed with a small spacer on the driver top hat and the stiffer leaf of the pair installed on the driver's side.
I still don't see a 6k lb taco, unless @tacofort has made a comeback or @mwc273 is running his camp/wheeling loadout on the daily.

Even me being a 4 banger, I'm mindful of the GVWR myself.

Just trying to make sure all the weight on the truck is fairly evenly distributed. Trying to get the suspension dialed in.

Lot of heavy items, Alucab canopy camper, 20g water tank, gas, propane kitchen, outdoor gear.

I take the GVWR as more of a guideline lol

Truck's not a daily commuter, it's being built for a multi year Pan American road trip

yeah, thats no race truck. just getting the axle weights will help you make informed decisions about springs/shock valving.

That's it exactly, not super happy with my current suspension setup. I'd like to get the most information possible before dropping the money on a new one

I'd start looking into drivetrain upgrades to have longevity then, before suspension. And a big brake kit.
You need to beef up stopping and going with that mini house, and the wear on transmission, diffs, and shafts. Don't forget tie rods as well. Carry spares too.

Get the weight of that fat girl, then contact Alcan or Deaver or some other leaf spring maker. They'll set you up.

Anyone local interested in these? Tires are nearly brand new, less than 5k miles. Wheels are in great shape as well. $400

Well, after almost seven years, I think the time has come to say goodbye to the Tacoma…

If anyone knows someone local that’s in the market for a 2nd Gen, let me know. I’m not in a huge hurry to move it, but having survived the move and now working from home full time, I just don’t need the truck anymore.

All that time and effort you've put into it and now you wanna sell? If it's paid off and you've gotten whatever leak in the front end fixed, I say keep it. Not eating any hay sitting in the driveway.

Otherwise, PART OUT! First dibs on taking all of your suspension goodies!
