Just got my 2017 Tacoma TRD Sport. Looking for a decent bed mat. I’m in Canada, does anybody know of good trust worthy sites to use for after market stuff.

Hard to beat the OEM mat, and it's not all that expensive

    Still stock completely capable!
I’m pretty sure you pay the same or maybe a few bucks less than the OEM like @Chew said! Just go OEM! It’s awesome 0 complaints!!

Oem mat all day. Don’t waste time anywhere else. Amazon usually has good deals on it vs dealer.

Welcome to TW and congrats on the truck. I think most people here are going to agree that Toyotas bed mat is the way to go. As far sites go you can always pick up bed mats from people that have gotten rid of their truck from FB marketplace, Amazon, or eBay from authorized Toyota dealers. I would also wait for holiday deals such as 4th of July , black friday, etc. to see if you can pick one up at a better price.

You can also look at a gator bed mat. A buddy bought one...imo, its just as good as oem, and had free shipping. Every place he tried charged for shipping here.

Like others have said, I personally think the OEM bed mat is worth the cost.

OEM, any dealer website will beat Amazon right now. Not sure about canada but in the US its around $85 and free shipping if you use the FREESHIP code.

    Mine is getting delivered today

That all depends what you can buy the oem for...i was charged $120 for mine when i ordered the truck...dealer claimed part of it was for their shipping costs. Even a buddy that found toyota dealers that were discounting them charged anywhere from $40-$50 to ship one here. The gator for around $90 with free shipping seemed a margin.
Its screwy how it works. I noticed a few months later some dealers were offering free shipping along with their discounted price. As far as the rem being better? Idk, after seeing the gator, it looks, holds, and fits just as precise.

    All-factory options at this point.
OEM all day, but just a somewhat obvious reminder- it really does what it's supposed to, grip items and minimize sliding. Never had one that was better. Just means pushing harder when loading gear.

I was helping my brother-in-law look for one recently and it was pretty easy to find them in $85-$90 range with free shipping or at least free shipping to the dealer. My wife bought my first bed mat for me and it was around $100 from the dealer. I gave that one to my dad when I traded. When I bought my 2020, I got them to throw the bed mat in to sweeten the deal after we agreed on price. Personally, I like the look of the OEM mat, but I'm sure the Gator bed mat is just as durable.

Just go with OEM for $100. Keeps things from sliding and any rain drops that do slip through the tonneau cover go under the bed mat and everything on top of it stays dry

Only major issue the gator has...it doesn't have the word tacoma printed on it. To some that is priceless. But was far as the gator, its every bit as good.

Eh, I don't know about priceless, but considering they're basically the same price right now, it's a nice touch. If someone really wanted to save money though, they could probably find the same basic material and just cut it themselves to fit in the bed.

Yeah, but i wonder how well the mat would stay put in an open bed, or keep the bed surface dry underneath. The good mats have these nubs on the underside to prevent that as well being kept from holding moisture.

Either the OEM mat or a BedRug bed mat. I opted for the BedRug because I'm old and it's easy on the knees when I have to kneel in the truck bed. Had one in my Ram and really liked it, so went that way for the new Tacoma.

If you go OEM I've gotten several things from BAM Wholesale. The OEM mat is currently $105 with free shipping, although not sure if that applies north of the border.
