Oh that would be funny as all.....

Move the offender to another parking spot and set his driver's door close to a pole, post, something immovable.

Just re-park it legally, but obnoxiously.

BTW, you probably only need 2. Generally, 2 wheels on a vehicle are not "locked" when parked.

Does that apply on private property?

I would love some street justice.

How about asshole drivers in a parking lot? Im always almost getting hit by dumb shits driving through the lot, not up and down the lanes.

I was accounting for parking brake being used too haha

I'm not sure haha I just pulled up some of the legislature in my local state and it might not even actually apply to vehicles parked in parking lots of the business; private property vs public etc I'm not a lawyer, just an avid Google search engine user

Most parking lots for businesses are considered private property. Most times officers will not respond to a fender bender on a parking lot.

Don't the police usually like to respond to accidents when it's only impeding traffic or someone is hurt? I remember being hit in college. I called the police. The dispatcher said "is anyone hurt? or are you blocking traffic?" The answer was No. They basically said "get each others info and if you need a police report for insurance reasons...come on down and file one"

I mean... maybe he's 1000 IQ for thinking the section between the handicapped spots is fair game.

the law states "into any such prohibited area or away from a curb such a distance as is unlawful"

the parking lot is a lawful/non-prohibited area to park. this law mostly means you can't move a vehicle from the curb into the lane of travel and have it block the flow of traffic as that would be illegal

now, that being said, if you were to somehow "damage" the vehicle upon "moving" it then you would be responsible for any and all of those damages (if provable :D )

One day about 30 years ago, I get off work walk to the 4 acre parking lot and there is someone parked so close you would need a can opener to get in my truck. Of course im pissed and walk around to crawl through the passenger door. I happen to look through the passenger window of the offender and hmmmm the keys are in his truck. So yes i fired his truck up and took it all the way across the parking lot, parked it, walked back to my truck and drove home.

Hmm, how loud would someone caught moving a car cry to the cops if they got their ass severely beat, as in hospital time? It ain't yours, just keep your hands off, how hard is that to understand?
