They really just are. I have never found anything that comes close to it and they are great because they spread the pressure evenly all throughout.

 

And expand and contract with temp changes.

 

The Magnuson kit came with a bracket to help with that. I'll see if I can get a pic of it tonight. Or if someone has the install instructions handy.

@JasonLee it bolts on top of the coolant resi bracket. But they don't mention anything about it there. It moves the clutch resi 2 inches out from the fender and about 1 inch to the front of the vehicle.

 

Sorry guys, have to brag a little.. I just can't get over how well my '15 cleans up after 57K. I daily this truck and since I moved to Texas at the end of '17 it hasn't had much more than an occasional hand wash. I felt really bad for how it had been neglected so it was given some love. Got a full detail, clay bar'd and wax.

 

That clean frame is the best part! I purposely bought an Arizona truck but after 5 winters the frame is awful. I have done Fluid film treatments and begun to POR 15, have the front half done. Gonna do the rear section soon. Should have done that the first week of ownership...

 

I bought mine new in NM in early '15. I'm happy with the frame too! Even all the engine/chassis fasteners are still in good shape which makes me smile. It's had two trips to Idaho/Oregon, one to NorCal, and a few to Colorado. The only time it's seen anything that would put a hurting on the frame was a trip to Zion NP where it had just snowed and salt was abundant. I spent probably $10 at the nearest carwash blasting the undercarriage on our return. Thankfully it seems to have paid off.

You guys get hammered up there.. My wife is from Boston and she had a '06 Subaru Legacy GT at the time we met, and man.. Anytime you had to do maintenance on it, you had better planned on replacing the entire "assembly" versus a single part, cause you were not getting parts off. I had to replace the entire rear Suspension because one of her rear brake calipers seized and the only way I could service it was to replace the spindle and control arms.

 

i know for the hydro boost there is a bracket that comes for that to mount to the MC.

I wish my headlights still looked like that but every year they look more and more like a POS.

 

Replace and upgrade them!

Have you considered ceramic coating it? I had my fun cars professionally done, but I did the Tacoma myself - makes maintenance SO much easier...
I especially like its proper gearbox.

 

Looks great, love the extended cabs!! Do you have the TRD Pro 2nd gen headlights? The look darker then normal….like the pros.
