A sad update to an amazing man that does not know to quit…

 

I met Alex at the CART Houston GP in 98 or 99. His energy is infectious! Really an inspiring guy with all that’s happened in his life.

During the drivers press conference he's asked which team he's supporting during the Euro's (Russia got knocked out) he goes on to say “99 people that surround me keeps telling me it’s coming home, so I’m really hoping it’s not coming home!” (edit:a little explanation is needed...Euro's is Europes football championship, and 'It's coming home' is a England football song about winning, hopefully!)

England are playing in the Euro’s football championship right now. The phrase ‘footballs coming home’ is a general saying that they’re hoping to bring the Cup home, generally it’s meant for the World Cup.

A lot of his team are English and Mazespin is basically hoping England lose. Another phrase that is appropriate to call Mazespin would be ‘stupid twat’.

football = a game that is played with your foot, so it is called/named properly

(American) football = game that is played with your hands, so called/named improperly (in my opinion)

No, I am not American. Yes, I am European (Portuguese), and "soccer" is called football EVERY WHERE else in the world EXCEPT here. Go figure.
