I know I shouldn't complain, but if I have to spend too many more days of my life looking at spreadsheets for 8 hours I'm going to have a crisis of conscious.

 

Sweet. The little cash register in my head has been waiting for that little announcement. He flies on July 11. I still have those 6 SPCE JUL 16 $35's. Now I just ride the hype until July 9th and sell 1/2 just in case he blows up. lol

I can do those things. But I've also managed to build myself a nice comfortable life even if it's boring as shit and turning me into a fat lazy fuck.

Not sure I could take the paycut, but my health and wellbeing would probably appreciate it.

 

I figure by June 9 or so GME will start squeezing and you can quit your job

Well, if there's any chance of being a fat and lazy carpenter, the union would be your best shot. I actually can't stand unions personally but I'm a fit, hard working hammer swinger that makes more then 99% of union guys without paying union dues. lol

 

Maybe I could take over the union and become some sort of twisted and shady mob/union ruler. That might be more applicable to my current skill set.

I think it’s the fact that people say money doesn’t buy happiness. That’s sort of true. But always remember money can buy a private island and a fleet of jet skis. Unfortunately those spreadsheets are a way to the money for a lot of people. Unless something crazy happens to me I’ll be in a similar spot in a few years. Not looking forward to it but I am looking forward to having adult money.

 

Corporate America, where they pay dumbshits like you and me way too much money to process information in wildly useless and outdated ways to be passed across numerous peoples' desks (in my case customers) to fall into a black hole.

And then 5 months later, out of the blue, "Hey, is this pricing still valid, we'd like to order 1/10th of what was quoted but we also need a discount, and we also need it last week because we're lazy fucks and we didn't plan our inventory needs properly." "How much is air freight? Can you offer it the same as rail freight?" "K, thanks. Oh by the way we're going with your competitor."

 

Money buys time. Everybody gets the same 24 hours. Money is the differentiator between you owning your time and someone else owning it.

 

Money can't buy happiness but it's a lot more comfortable to cry in a Mercedes then on a bicycle.
