Just watch the big red candle at open. If it starts to have more big red candles it's time to GTFO. I'll be watching the opposite with SPCE tomorrow. Big green candles at open. Then who knows but I'm prepared to GTFO as soon as the signals tell me too.

That...that is an excellent way to decide what to invest in. I like that sort of quant analysis.

My friend bought TRIT because he misread my text. Missed the R. He still netted 24%.

Ok but if RIG does as we hope. I could buy sound deadening 3 times over with this money. It was hard enough for me to pull the trigger on speakers and an amp. Just because I found a good deal used. 750 bucks of equipment for 350 +shipping. I’ve been trying to pour as much money into my accounts the past year while my monthly expenses are low still.

Really? That shits made in China. You don't think it's by-products are also killing sea life and poisoning oceans. Plus crating mini-islands of waste floating in the oceans. All that and it makes your stereo system sound 5x better. lol

Could work out fine. But yea, I had read about the announcement coming, but I’m on vacation next week and didn’t want to be holding things I won’t have time to monitor. Had I known I could just sell them tomorrow and pay for the vacation, well I’d be real happy right now

Hope we get a winter this year. Last winter just kinda passed over us. I think we got one day with a couple feet of snow in the valley. The Sierra's have small slivers of snow left, like above 10k feet but usually by July there's still snow visible on the mountains from Reno. It's hot and dry up there right now.

Can verify there is NOTHING left under 12K. There's always a snow field at the base of Lamarck Col at 12880'. I made it to the Col without so much as stepping on a single snowflake. It's fucked.

I’m sure it will beat any northern arizona winter. Most they got in a weekend was 16 inches. The conditions at flagstaff other than day of powder suck. Never stays cold so it all melts and gets slushy then freezes at night. Fresh powder or it’s below average.

Even Mt. Baker (Northern WA) is having troubles. I've ski'd there in a T-shirt in July. It's like perma-snow. This is the first year in a long time they're issuing climbing advisories for unsafe hiking conditions.

@theesotericone would know more about that than me, but this is the first time I can remember what is basically a fucking giant ice cube year round having melt issues.

    Fun quote of the day:

“The idea that a bell rings to signal when to get into or out of the stock market is simply not credible. After nearly fifty years in this business, I don’t know anybody who has done it successfully and consistently. I don’t even know anybody who knows anybody who has.” -- Jack Bogle

For those that don't know Jack created the first index fund and founded Vanguard Group.

I think the Bogleheads just buy index funds and wait 30 years to retire. Boring lot, those folks.

While certainly not my, or most folks in this threads, investment strategy I see nothing wrong with it. If your a normal person that doesn't keep up with the market it's safe and has decent returns. I just happen to be a risk taker so it doesn't suit me well. lol
