I've only driven 10 miles on them so far haha but I like them a lot. Had falken wildpeaks before and loved those tires. These new ones are a "hybrid" AT/MT but there's hardly more road noise compared to the falken ATs. I'll have to get em out on a trail and see how they do. Also, they were only 2 lbs heavier than the falkens even though they're ~1.5" bigger so I don't notice a difference at all.

I just installed the same one, and I love it. I upgraded from a very old Mini 0805 (from like, 2016), so it was a huge shock to me just how much better these things have gotten.

    Definitely the shell hands down.

I had a tonneau cover under my bedrack and rtt. It wasn’t bad at first, but did get old after a while having to slide under it all and pack since I couldn’t open up the tonneau with the bedrack and rtt. Storage space was also limited.

Biggest factor being that if we were out camping or whatever with the rtt deployed, we were pretty much stuck. If we wanted to go explore , we would have to pack everything and the rtt back up. It really wasn’t that bad, just a hassle.

With the shell, it just makes more sense for us. More room in the back, we could sleep back there if we wanted to. Never have to take it off like we did with the rtt set up to actually use the bed. More “ water tight “ than the rtt, definitely not waterproof but more so than the tonneau. The windoors are just plain badass. Rear visibility is better with the shell, over my old set up as well.

Overall after having both , if I had a chance to do it all over again. I would have just went with the shell the first time and saved some money.

But I’ve enjoyed both set ups, just prefer the shell more.

    Here are pics for comparison.

As promised, here are some photos of the harness. Crappy shots but it gives you an idea of how its ran.
    IMG_5145.jpg
The deutsch connector for when I remove the diamondback.
    IMG_5146.jpg
Correction on my previous post, the slack is on the front panel.
    IMG_5149.jpg
The red circle (shape?) kind of shows where I ran the harness. I snuck it behind the 2 clamps that hold the diamondback to the bed and then along the top/side of the cleats all the way to the tailgate.

Not the person you asked but I love my Skycamp mini. It's been used on 4 multi-day trips so far this year and I love how quick and easy it is to set up and take down. Price is very steep but you get what you pay for (quality). TuffStuff Alpha II is similar to the iKamper SkyCamp mini and is cheaper, although I can't tell you about the quality of that since I don't have personal experience.

As for mounting over the cab, the rtt weights 125lbs. I'm not sure how much weight the cab can support (if you include the weight of the roof rack + the weight of who ever sleeps in the rtt) so I don't think that location is a good idea for your rtt

Installed DMM 2.0 from thetacogarage. Very easy install and pleasantly hidden and out of the way for a mounting system. Now I just need my ram x and GoPro mounts to get in!

I've installed that very same mount and i also like its stealth profile. It holds my phone and Ham head unit mounts very securely even off road:

Added the A/C drain line today (note- it runs next to exhaust. Let it cool for a minute lol) and the gas cap holder from lifted. That holder blends so well and is so sturdy you'd think it was factory. Thank you Lifted Customs.

I used a set of trim tools that I bought from Harbor Freight. They worked very well. Only had to use one of the tools (the smaller fork one). I started at the top right side of the panel and wedged the fork between the panel and the dash. Pry outward and it should start to pop out slowly. You gotta give her some force, it's snapped in there pretty good. Just start working at it and you'll see. Here's a pic of the tool pack that I purchased and a pic of the backside of the panel. (Note the location of the tabs on the panel behind, not the thing I'm holding in my hand lol). Hope this helps ya man.

Needed better organization in my bed, so took a shot on Diamondback's 8in bin. I think this will be what I need for more bed space under the DB. I also opted for their new light. I know there are probably cheaper options out there, but my OCD forced me to get it. Diamondback light, for a Diamondback cover. Now that I've finally received it, it's pretty damn solid. I'll get it mounted here in a minute, if the rain will stop. Also grabbed a weapon mount. Not sure if I'll use it yet, but we'll see.

I see your switch blank took some damage on removal like mine did... It startled me when i did it at first because I thought I hosed it up, but it seems like the blank is forced in there or something... Bedlights are a good gateway mod!
