@memario1214 or @Diode Dynamics can you confirm that the Pro SSC1 yellow will have a 4000K base LED?

Asking because the sport drop from white to yellow is about 5% efficiency loss, whereas the pro lights are closer to 15% loss in intensity when moving from white to yellow.

Cd loss percentages from the table with the Pro model clearly indicate a higher than 4000k color temp emitter with a darker corrective (higher loss) lens. From those numbers, it would appear the new Pro emitter is likely 6000k.

Pro SSC1 does use a 4000K emitter. Difference in output is moreso about the losses in this actual chip. Cooler temp = more lumens, but this chip is a bit more drastic than the Sport.

Holy cow!! I commend you guys for all the effort you put into the R&D, like you do on everything. It's amazing seeing that you optimize emitters for every model and level of each model. Most companies just use the same emitter in different housings and call it a day. lol

I'm curious what else in the works, I'm sure you guys have some awesome stuff coming in the future!

How do I read section B & C in those charts? Is that how many lux there is at those ranges?

My bad, I cut that part off the screenshot. A is lux at 10 meters, B is distance in meters with 1 lux, C is ¼ lux.

I decided on the sport fogs but no sure what pattern. I really need a boost when driving off road in snow.

If you’re replacing your stock fogs I’d probably recommend the SAE fog pattern in the yellow color.

In snow you’ll want at least the Pro to prevent them from icing over. Pattern is going to depend on where you are looking to see better off road. Best pattern for snow use would be an SAE fog, and selective yellow would be the ideal color. But if you are looking to improve your distance lighting, that won’t help much. But distance lighting is inherently problematic in the snow.

So we've gone smaller... Are there larger pods in the works?
