The Poulan feels a little flimsy in comparison but it starts first pull and is ready to go. The Toro was my grandfather's. When i got it from him it wasn't running and he had bought a new one. It was out of both oil and gas lol

Nice.. I've been in a pinch with remote repairs where I've fixed some similar with just some all thread lol

They've never called me back that it didn't work so I count that as a success

Without a doubt Poulan will ALWAYS feel like junk. The poulan brand was bought by the Husqvarna Corp just for them to own a "throwaway" brand of equipment

In the industry whenever someone brought one in for repair, 100% of the time it was cheaper for them to buy a new piece of equipment

I just might. I'm curious if they took it on a joyride or just let it idle a bunch but it was down an eighth of a tank or so and almost up to temp when I picked it up. Normally i check the ODO when i drop it off anywhere but i spaced it today so I have nothing to go on but a feeling...why would they need to adjust the rearview mirror when you only need the sides and backup cam to park?

And there are some bubbles in my tint large enough that I'm not confident they'll go away, a couple wrinkles on one corner, and some dirt under the film on one window. I've done my own tint a few times and expect some of them to go away in a couple days, but some of these are borderline.

Take that shit back, if they've left bubbles in the tint they will NOT go away.

The wife and I paid a tint buddy on the side to do her car and it turned out perfect. A few weeks later and she started developing bubbles in her rear glass that weren't there when he first finished, we have no recourse cause it was off the books but it was completely bubble free when he first did it. AND he did it during the time when there was an ungodly amount of ash in the air during forest fire season, when he did the job outside with no tent or covering

Geez, on a 3 mile stretch of road over here we have 15+ fireworks tents in parking lots. Seems...overkill.

After chatting with my buddy I'm pretty confident they took it on a joyride. No way I'm taking it back. I'm gonna talk to them and ask if they drove it and how much. Give them a chance of fessing up.

Yeah the reviews say the frame is flimsy enough that the blade can hit it at off angles lol

Didn't know that when I picked it up. I'll see how it runs.

@Speedytech7 @Empty_Lord is there a bench test for the electric ADD actuator?

I searched and didn't come up with anything conclusive

Yes. It involves a heater relay if I remember right and it’s kind of a pain in the ass

calling anything "studs" makes me think of lego star wars where you collected studs as currency :)
