Shouldn't be bad for too long, I had all 4 of mine pulled years ago and by the time my pain pill prescription ran out I was fine. Never refilled the rx. Don't smoke lol, but of course they already told you that.

I had my wisdom teeth out but in 2 visits. Them suckers were down in there deeply rooted. I was nervous too, he said that he could remove them but he usually sends patients to the surgeon for it...ok. Anyhow the 2 on the bottom he had to break up and extract them in a few pieces. One of them got a little infected so back in for more antibiotics. Top 2 weren't bad.

I only had 3 wisdom teeth. Two of them came out fine, the third had twisted roots and shattered which woke me up. I remember seeing a light and 2 people (operating light, doctor and nurse, not anything angelic  ) looking down at me and the night night mask going back on. Next thing I know I'm waking up in the recovery room.

My wife (ER nurse at the time) looked at the prescription, said Tylenol with Codeine was crap and that we weren't filling it. I took 3 ibuprofen when we got home and didn't need anything else so I'm glad we didn't bother with the Tylenol.

So far not too bad. All 4 were fully out but broken in half. Laid in the chair and next thing I know I was waking up in recovery and 45 minutes later. Had some 800 ibuprofen at home so no need for meds from the dr. Took one when we got home and lots of ice. Think there was more pain when stuff got stuck in them before then right now.

Oh man that's awful. Had that happen with my tops when I was 27 and it killed. Both times it took longer to numb versus pull.

Had my left lower removed surgically 3 years ago at age 44, and was knocked out. Funny shit, my wife tells me in the recovery room I would stand up and say "let's go!", she would say "no, sit down"..I would say "ok" and repeat this whole thing a dozen more times in 30 minutes. I have zero recollection of any of this. I laughed when she told me and said "that's what I'm like when I drink, hopefully that's the closest you get to it"

I wouldn't accept the prescription for those. Not with my history.

It's especially hilarious to learn I am clean and have been as long as she has known me.
