Anyone on here happen to have a propane fire pit I could borrow for the weekend? Burn bans in both Okanogan and Gifford-Pinchot.

Anyone know how big of a tire you can run on 3rd Gen with a 17x9 wheel? My 21 OR Came with 16’s.

edit* haha I know about the 3rd Gen forums and search function, I just wanted input from someone actually running it on our type of “off-roading” we do around here. I don’t need full tuck for most of these FS roads but I don’t want to rub either.

 

265/70/17 or 255/80/17

That is a wide wheel with a negative (guessing) offset so that is where you might run into some rubbing issues.

 

Yeah I had 0mm on my 05 without issues, but these are -12. I would do minor trimming of the fender liner or even CMC, but I’m really not off-roading this to the degree I did my last one so I don’t want to waste my time. The Ken Block wheels are tight though.

 

These will stick out 62mm further than the stock wheels so some light trimming might be needed depending on tire size

Turns out they also make them in +1mm offset. I’m getting them.

 

Saw tons of third gens running Naches this weekend wheeling with some friends. One lady in the white “rebel” 3rd gen out there was killing it on Moon rocks. Out wheeling quite a few more built rigs. Wish I stayed a bit longer than just Friday and Saturday though. Need to swap my fat ass bumper for a high clearance.

Not shit for photos was focused on having fun lol. Was sick seeing my buddies run their front and rear steers buggies and running some trails with them going to and from the rocks.

 

Moon/Funny rocks is a good time for sure. Five fingers is a fun lil climb too

 

I am not sure if I know the name or where five fingers is at. Last time I went with @utroda @Shadowhunter and a few others sorry forgot the logins we knew the names of little Naches and tripod flats. They didn’t call them by the actual names so I got confused again lol.

 

Anyone know a good place to install a lift with aal and possible ecgs bushing near Seattle? I’m tempted to try it myself but a backup is always good! I am looking at the eibach lift.

 

@BrashBrusier is the other dude. We almost went to Moon Rocks instead of Twisp for the 4th but my Wife was looking for a camping trip near water not a wheeling trip. We went and camped near Twisp at a lake Saturday. Then the next thing I know I’m driving up some abandoned road off the WABDR trying to find the China Wall with my wife freaked out crying and screaming at me to turn around on an off camber rd that’s 7’ wide and damn near a cliff. Fun times

I am pretty sure I know that road, have been up and down it several times on my KTM 1090 and it felt sketchy every time. I wouldn't try it in my truck.

Worst was uphill in the rain, can't stop, can't go too slow, can't go too fast, hug the wall on your left and hope you don't slip a wheel and go to the right.

 

This sounds all too familiar on me heading down roads I “shouldn’t” lol. I was able to convince her somehow on our 8th year anniversary so it was a nice win. Didn’t end up going to crazy and when I did have a little issue it definitely stirred some emotions haha. Wanting to go to Walker soon now that I got out there again..
