Made it to my aunts place about 10:50 lastnight :bananadance:

Randoms from the ride here. Hit some awful storms and could barely see in some places.

Going to be enjoying 5 days off here. I bought a new pump for a pressure washer (one of the tools that has seen more, much more borrowed use than I've used) so that's first on the list of to do today. Then going to local auto parts store and see if they can get a power steering return line/hose for my sons car. His CV axle blew apart and smashed the line. Lots more project lined up. Brother is in town for a few days staying at sisters.
Have a nice weekend Shane and friends.

Lucky for me the power steering line that got smashed was the return side because the high pressure side looks like it snakes it's way 6 laps around the engine bay. 20210702_070824.jpg 20210702_070803.jpg

I tend not to sugarcoat things, told my son don't buy that car, he wants to sell it because it's a PIHA (his) now he want you to give him 5k so it can be a PIYA (your), lol, I say he wants rid of it because it breaks down constantly.
So far he had to have it flat bed towed at a cost of 300 each to a shop that will work on it, and both times the shop bill has been a grand. Fuel pump, and alternator. I guess hard for me to see him have it broke off in him so I'll fix it this time. One time.

Saw some friends up here in the mtns and got to talking, the one mentioned what a lemon their '19 6.2 Silverado has been. Beautiful truck, but just problem after problem.

I love coming up here in part because so many people drive Toyotas.
