Haha some of them on TW are at least insightful. The ones at work can't even understand simple instructions.

On another note: I want to buy a metal-working lathe. There are a few things I'd like to make out of aluminum and I can imagine a lot of things people would ask me to make. I can also teach anyone willing to learn.

Something similar to this but works with the rigid lights - the mounts are at the bottom on the rigid (or theres bracket just needs a single bolt hole somewhere) vs the middle on the chinesum lights

Is it really just two little tabs on the side to hold them in?
Just cut a plate to the size of the hole and then cut the square in the middle and fold it inward and run a bolt hole through it.

 

Do it. My grandpa got a lathe and a few other machines in his shop like 20 years ago and hasn't stopped building crap for everyone he knows. He does a lot of side work outfitting small fishing boats and stuff although he slowed down in the last couple years but still, grandma doesn't like the shed cuz it's noisy and dirty so that's where he spends his time

 

By chance are you looking at one that can hold a piece at least 26" long and cut threads? Just curious. You know, for reasons...
