So I stopped by a lgs today to see what they had. They haven’t had hardly anything for over a year. They finally had a couple of ar’s and some other guns. I then saw they had some magazines. They had pro mags and pmags after that saw they wanted $32 for gen 3 pmags I walked back out never even asking about anything else. They must be on crack

I thought so other than only in 556. I don't need one but thought I would pass it along. They make some impressive stuff. I haven't had a chance to shoot one yet.

I get lucky with my lgs, gen 3 pmag30’s for $14.99. I know that’s not a huge deal but I save on shipping and help out a local business. Their ammo on the other hand……

That is the normal price I have been seeing on gen 3's. I have been picking up gen 2's for $12

Aluminum cuts fine with wood cutting tools. Hit it with some candle wax if you have problems with aluminum sticking to the carbide teeth.

Maybe someone help me out; of the many optics I've mounted, somewhere I recall it saying something about moving the rings rearward or forward I get CRS sometimes and forget. I looked through a couple of scope boxes and didn't find where it said which way?? I'm asking for a Burris PEPR mount on a rail.

I just saw this last night a couple of times. They showed pushing the mount forward before you snug it to the rail to help eliminate shifting from recoil

Really want to get into reloading, at the worst time possible lol. My local Cabela’s has plenty of die sets and bullets but zero powder. Is it worth the investment? I’m mainly interested for converting 223 to 300blk and 9mm.

I myself wouldn't bother with converting 223 to 300 blackout but a coworker has done a bunch that way with 223 blanks when we used to buy spent brass at 50 cents a pound. I just threw the blanks in the trash. I guess that guy made a jig to cut them down.
Is it worth the investment? Tough question. I have a room set up just for reloading and other firearm BS, cleaning, safe etc. I got into better than 10 years ago so have aquired thousands of dollars of stuff, could even put stuff in all caps lol.
Powders, brass and bullets for many rifle and pistol rounds, most before everything went crazy.

Not thousands as in many thousands but I'd say a couple anyway. 20210702_225627.jpg 20210702_225427.jpg 20210702_225601.jpg

And there's more. Reloading, its a little bit addictive but then I kind of have that nature.

Pre COVID was like $12 a box, but the lowest I’ve found recently was $18, it’s been about $22-$25 if you’re picky and don’t pay the ridiculous prices.
