Yeah i guess its back in. Alot of cross country tires are like that now. And the ones on my gravel bike. Prefer the grey walls on my Hard tail though

I spent about an hour today trying to nail down my skipping under load problem. Adjust both derailleurs and shifters again..not sure if I fucked up or if it's time to replace the cassette

 

How olds the chain and cassette? Takes 2 to tango.

 

Have you checked the derailleur hanger alignment? There are fancy tools for it... but basically, the hanger should be parallel to the wheel across all axes.

 

Chain is new, cassette is maybe 10 years old if it's original

Ah yeah that could be the problem. They wear together.

 

Boy for what this used bike has cost me in time and small parts I really aught to buy a new one

 

I have a C64, It was the first computer my dad gave me and my brother. I even learned to program on it.

Cave Rock is the least busy, you do have to do a boat inspection first do to all the invasive species. We don't want to turn Tahoe into the Stockton Delta!

Is its skipping up or down? It could have to do with cable tension
