I thought about doing this with my mid travel(thought about it with my LT too), but wasnt sure what the consequences would be. Like a 16" spring instead of 14" but keep the spring rate or maybe just drop a little.. Seems so wasteful to have all those threads above the spring adjuster nut.

It all comes down to block height of the specific coil you’re looking at. Block height is how long the coil is when it’s fully compressed and the rings start touching each other.

When the shock is fully compressed, the two coil seats must be longer than the coil block height. That’s why I have so little preload right now. Any more and I would be bottoming out the coil before the shock.

I was just discussing this with a friend earlier today. He’s going to put softer 16” coils on his fox mid travel. We pulled some measurements with the coilover on the truck and it should fit. We’ll confirm once he gets it off the truck by taking more accurate measurements.

    None yet.
Been busy the last couple months. But here’s what I’ve accomplished on my truck. Installed bilstein 5100s on it. With eibach 2.5” lift coils up front. As well as a Icon add a leaf. Pulled the factory overload and put the Icon set in. Lifted the rear 1.5” so she sits pretty damn level. Maybe a 1/4” higher in the rear.
Today I installed some Amazon sourced headlight housings and led bulbs. Will see how they hold up. Spent like 180 on the setup. So if the new headlights suck I’ll figure out the next move. Should be a giant improvement over the stock ones!! Also ordered new wheels and tires. Will
Update pics and offset info once completed!!!

No pics, I found some minor rust under the door sill trim where the plastic rubbed the paint off. Wire wheeled the rust off and put two coats of touch up paint to hopefully stop it. If it continues I’ll have to do something else.

Still waiting on my Mr Marv sub enclosure so I can wrap that up. Patience is a virtue.

Can't prove it. Pinterest told me that I was the only one that would have that design. It guaranteed that I would be the exclusive person to have that design. No one else in the world ever thought about it.

Nice. Is there much weight savings with the 2 piece rotors? Is it 16'' wheel compatible? Could you share part numbers?
