So here’s a question what are the personal tax implications for selling your car at a profit?

How do people figure out how much their Taco is worth. I am really interested to see if mine went up in value if that is the case. (Bought mine in January)

 

Heck just search around Toyota Dealers (anywhere U.S.A.) try to find the exact configuration that you have and
see what their list price is. Realize that their list-price is what it will sell for, dealers won't come off a dime.

My configuration listed at $33,400 and today the same configuration lists for $37,000+ all the way up to $42,000.

Krazy-Town.

nope. I want to say he was in the PNW somewhere. I love my 18’ OR, but it is NOT a $52k truck!

 

I bought my 2011 last year, it was a texas car before being sold to a dealer in CO where I bought it a week later. As a former Chicagoan, I couldn't believe the lack of rust. I'd never seen such a clean frame on a 10-year-old toyota ever in my life. Thanks, Texas.

 

My wife’s Outback is approaching the price we paid for it 4 years ago… I’m about 3 steps away from selling it. I just bought a new hybrid and I think it’s time to go down to 1 car as I work from home and she doesn’t work…

 

But flooding… electrical issues etc.

 

I honestly try to be thoughtful and have measured responses to things… yet I can’t help but say how stupid it is to pay 52k for a tacoma. Not even a Pro, not even a 21. A 20 Sport. Geeze.

It’s just like people paying 200k over appraisal and skipping out on an inspection.

You don’t NEED a truck/house/whatever that badly.

 

I’ve been hearing of people having to write essays about why the house should be sold to them.

 

The thirst is real. If I had to write an essay i'd tell them i'm turning the basement in to a sex dungeon, removing all the roses and planting ganja and turning it into a trap house
