Had to pull the LRA tank out for some adjustments. She’s getting dirty under there.

It’s been about 10-15k miles. I was curious about corrosion on the inside due to it being a metal tank and it seems it is clean as a whistle in there.

Generally if you keep it full, or drive it regularly so the gas sloshes around, it wont corrode or rust. The gas keeps the moisture away. Street bikes have metal tanks and I left one half full and static for almost a year and started to have issues with little rust flakes clogging the injectors. Flakes from the top of the tank. So just keep it full if its gonna sit for awhile.

Anyone interested in a one-off loginfailed dual fuel pump setup? I pulled this out today. As some of you know, I’ve been gradually going in a different direction with the truck with respect to mods.

Only one of the AEM pumps pictured has ever been run and it works flawlessly. The other one has just lived a life of leisure bathed in a pool of Buccees E0. No evap or fuel leaks, no hiccups. The level sensor is OEM. Pictured here is a few hundred or so invested in parts and materials and probably a month or so of obsessing and bathing in aluminum shavings.

Willing to part with it for a couple Benjamins.

Neat little setup for the right person who will use it to its potential.

    does this require additional wiring?
    does it fit oem tanks?

Does not make any sense what so ever for a 1GR unless you're doing some monstrous shit. One of those pumps alone I believe can support 600hp. Even at that point, there are other single pumps that can flow more and negate any need for the second pump.

This was purely a situation where someone told me I shouldn't do it and I was bored.

It does need an additional set of wires ran for the second pump. Also, the wiring plug is not OEM so it requires cutting off the OEM plug. As far as fitment goes, I made it for the Long Range automotive 33 gallon tank, but the LRA tank is made for a stock pump. So I see no reason why it wont fit.

To be clear, I doubt ANYONE in this thread needs this! Basically, buy two AEM 50-1200 pumps for $200 and get a dual fuel pump hanger for free.

I'm just toning it down a bit. Stock y-pipe, stock exhaust, stock air box, TRD injectors, bigger pulley.

No way, I’m spoiled with the LRA tank. At 12 MPG, a 33 gallon tank is a MUST have!

I feel you there. No one will ship on to Cali. So it makes the upgrade hard to do.

I went to their website I at one point they would not sell to California residents. Maybe I need to look into to it again.
