Just got home from a week at the beach with the family. Overall the 1100 mile round trip drive was pretty comfortable in the Tacoma. I was a bit surprised that nobody complained about comfort at all. Good times.
I have a few more days off and then back to work.

I’ll still take a rainy day camping over a day at work any day. I actually enjoy the challenge of staying dry in a rainstorm though.

Picked up a group of 12 to do a round trip dropped them off at the bar at 9pm heading to go grab them now. My cut for the run is 225$ not bad for sitting by the beach while I wait for their call.

It's always a shit show trying to get the whole group together to get picked up. They always ask for a pick up time but always never ready. Plus gotta keep the doors locked because other drunks will try to get in. This is the worst part of doing the pick ups after the bar closes down.

Good morning and Happy 4th of July fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians and Americans!!!

I rained off and on all day yesterday until about 5 and then it poured for an hour. No outside work done. Lynn and I spent 3 hours demoing the old cedar closet my father-in-law put in the stable. He tried to over-engineer it to keep the mice out. Didn't work but made it a bitch to take down. Pry bars of all sizes, a BFH, a MFH and a LFH, curses galore and lots of sweat equity and it's in the dumpster.

Hopefully today I can get back to caulking and then painting the greenhouse and mower garage. But, then again, it's the 4th so maybe I'll just enjoy the holiday.

Be safe and enjoy your day, my friends. Celebrate!
