[IMG] [IMG] Looking for 3in lift but I tow a boat, Kubota tractor, SXS often. I don’t want anything that messes up the ride or sags when I was towing. I saw the spacer and block kits available and that should not cause to much problems or changes but thought I’d ask. I would like to stay in the 1500ish range.

I have HD Dakars and second gen pro suspension PTR13-35150. PTR13-35150 is essentially a non adjustable 6112/5160 setup.

    Works fine.

You'll have to research prices as I have not looked to see what the prices are in todays world.

Used to tow an 11k/lbs trailer on a 8" DB lift (tundra). Probably some combo of blocks and add a leafs in the rear. You'll be fine

Question should be....Why so many lift questions? I could see needing one for serious off-roading use, but otherwise most only create their own problems here after installing some of these lifts they don't require 99% of the time. Maybe its more of an ego issue than anything else.

I actually think under most conditions i've encountered so far my v6 tacoma tows just as well as my 2001 tundra with the v8....just don't use 6th gear in the taco. Neither were/are lifted.

Lift can help if you go for heavier duties leafs and such. Bigger tires sounds like the killer here...

I second adding some extra leaf springs for the rear for towing. A add-a-leaf set like ones made by Old Man Emu is pretty inexpensive and helps reduce sagging when towing.

The Roadmaster active suspension works great as an alternative to air bags and has zero maintenance

Of course it is! 2" makes all the difference;)Don't you know a study concluded that 95% of lifted tacos don't ever go offroad?

    Work in progress...
I put in the Wheelers add a leaf with no intentions, what so ever, to tow. Next thing I know, everyone I know is needing this and that towed. Well, it has held up great. I did not leave the factory overload leaf in. I was not planning on towing. First tow was a VW Bug on a U-haul vehicle trailer and I was really cringing the whole time. Now days, I back up to 80,000,000 lbs with out a second thought.
