From time to time I check real estate listings around there. The only constant seems to be that I can't afford to live there.

    But oh to dream!

Not to hijack this thread but that area is a must explore for anyone interested in the outdoors. You have Canmore (a great town), Banff and Jasper a short drive away. More raw nature than just about anywhere ... Sorry, I get carried away ...

Ha! So that's what the theory of relativity means! You're right though, there's lots of opportunities to live around there, but I've gotten accustomed to a large garage and a yard, which seems to be the limiter sadly.

Thanks! Yeah, looks different without the snow. It was very hot that day. The heat was unbearable!

Just got home from a week at the beach with the family. Overall the 1100 mile round trip drive was pretty comfortable in the Tacoma. I was a bit surprised that nobody complained about comfort at all. Good times.

Can't wait to take my truck with the fiancé and our dogs back to Charleston (Isle of Palms), SC! We went a few weeks ago; about two weeks before my truck arrived at the dealership. Looking at how you have yours packed, I'm getting some good ideas. :)

With all the crap my wife brings, you either master Tetris, or buy a Tundra.

For me, the investment was well worth it. I found the speakers that’s recommended by other forum members for less than $60, so considering the price, it was well worth the small cost for the improved sound. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Went ahead and ordered these wheels. Found them on sale this weekend this is not my truck. But it’s the look I’ll have some time next week.

Spent a week or two each summer from the time I was 6 to about 25 yrs old at Rodanthe. Nags Head was about 80 miles from where I grew up and quick drive for long weekends was added to that when I hit 16. Wasn’t a Tacoma but old 68 Beetle or Dad’s 64 Chevelle SS. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

What year is your rig? It's not bad at all. Pretty much plug n play. Mine already had the wire harness behind the switch cover. I just had to remove the switch blank and insert the switch, plug her in, and tighten it all back up. Easy as that!

By far one of my cheapest and favorite mod to date. Stole the idea and probably in the minority for using kayak handles. $14 shipped. We’ll see on longevity but they help lift my light arse up with no problems.
