Karen's are fair game. Their pain is self-inflicted

First week at the new sawmill is in the books. Every day this week, something different broke. And it was never some small easy fix. Definitely got thrown into the thick of it and I'm doing pretty well so far. Hope everyone has a happy 4th, I'm preparing for my better half's birthday party this evening so I'll be scarce tonight and the next few days.

@Delta09 good luck with the talon!

Time for a little wrenching on the youngest kid's bike. That dry rotted front tire and leaky inner tube have to go.

    Morning stockers :hattip:

Hey, you're still around to tell a story, so that's good!

And after several days of no activity I start getting messages about the Talon. Haven't heard back again from the guy who initially gave me an offer, and I don't have the cash in my hand so this could possibly get interesting. The thing that sucks is in PA I can't just sign the title over, have to go to a notary. Not sure if I have to do that if somebody from Maryland wants it, but I make it clear it will not pass MD emissions. Although at the age of the car I think you can register it as historical in Maryland and not have to worry about it...

Hear you can walk into just about any bank and someone will notarize it for you....as long as the buyer and seller are both present.

Just got home from Cars and Coffee. Beautiful cool morning here...so the turn out was strong.

Off to mow and clean up the place and prepare for a cookout and fireworks tomorrow evening.

Unfortunately I have to go into an authorized notary that does PA tags and titles. Now if I buy a car from Maryland or West Virginia all I need is the signed title and a picture of the Vin. Screwy...
