Whatever. Looks bad ass sticking out an extra 3” or not sticking out an extra 3”. The ARB bull bar bumper has been etched into my mind since I was a kid as being the single most kick ass piece of hardware any Toyota can wear.

Well, she’s all bolted up. Only real issue with fitting the 05-11 bumper on a 2015 was the sheet metal that the original bumper cover fits into- and the parts that connect to it that hold the “cheeks” under the headlight assemblies. I went to town with my angle grinder, no prob.

I do have one question- has anyone else had any luck hooking up the ARB supplied turn signals on a DRL equipped truck? My DRL’s are disabled (I’ve got the rallylights stand alone relays/harness) but here’s the deal- when my lights are OFF- the signals work fine. When my lights are ON- they still work but the bumper turn signal flashes alternately to the bulb in the housing. Don’t even think of using the DRL setting (I don’t) but if you did- the radio and gauges flash, tail lights flash, all signal lights flash. What gives? Do I need a flasher mod? Gets way worse if I put LED bulbs in the front turns of course.

Any more pics of the final look? I'm getting ready to possibly put an early version on my 2014. I was concerned about the gabs and the bumper not lining up with the wheel well.

I have DRL's with my ARB bumper. I upgraded the ARB supplied indicator housings from halogen to LED not only to improve the look, but I noticed a slight delay from the headlight housing indicator's that I had already swapped to LED and the ARB indicator. The headlight housing indicator would flash before the bumper indicator (not a major delay; just enough to notice it and be annoying once you did).

Anyways; I didn't have any issues as you've described, but I don't have my DRL's disabled nor the rallylights harness. Perhaps disable or remove the rallylights stand alone relays/harness for troubleshooting purposes? It sounds like something with that harness is the culprit.

Pic of my rig with the bumper newly installed and ready for a trip to New Mexico.

It all lines up, very nice. Just some slight modification needed for the early version for a perfect fitment.

Here are some pics to see how it lines up.

You can actually see the 2 different years of bumpers in this pic. The red taco has the correct version for the year. My black truck has the older version on the newer truck.

The red truck has some of the stock bumper, cut and used to fill the gap. Mine does not.

That later version looks like it's a foot away from the headlights
