Cut out some tail light sockets.

I usually use 4" wide tube, but was curious how 3" would work.

I had an old incandescent that I used for test fitting. ( The demensions are the same for LEDs). I think the 3" worked fine.

I forgot to change my lead in and lead outs on the tool path. No biggie, the light grommet covers it all.

The CNC cuts sure make hand cut versions look like ass!

I'm working on a welding cart using an old metal screen door and a free to me dolly. The design is a bit goofy but if it doesn't end up working out at least I got some practice in!

It swings out so I can eventually put a bottle on the original dolly section.

It was a bit top heavy and tipped forward and to the side when I opened it up but I added some extensions to the bottom to stabilize things.
    The base platform

Added a latch deal, using up scrap bits.

Finally tested out the trailer back up lights. Very bright! Much brighter than the truck back up lights.PXL_20210703_020528810.jpg PXL_20210703_020539028.jpg

I had a similar idea, but made the front of mine stationary.
Looks like we had the same idea. I made my TIG cart from a HF dolly and scrap I had laying around:

    upload_2021-7-3_21-25-1.jpg

Only tricky part was getting the correct angle so the base for the tank didn't rub the floor when weighted with the tank:
    upload_2021-7-3_21-25-49.jpg

Only other part besides the dolly that was not scrap were the pipe mounting bases I used for end caps on the lead reels:

Nice! That looks pretty good for tossing it together.
I was going to add some small casters to the front of the bottom support base so the bottom of the dolly is just off the ground like yours. If I really need to hoof it somewhere I can still lean it back and go.
In theory of course  we’ll see how it works out though.

    Truth.

I’ve had good luck though with the red casters from HF for most small things in the shop. I really need to get some better ones for my workbench. That thing is heavy AF.

Playing around with making spare tire bracket/mounting plates.

Having a bit of trouble dialing in the spacing. Sitting here, I think I figured out my error.

These will work, since I played it safe by making the holes .8 inches.

I'll try again with making a 5 hole pattern. I think it was my fault just asking F360 to place 2 holes, 4.5" in diameter. I wasn't thinking and forgot that on a 5 hole rim, no holes are directly across from each other.PXL_20210704_184449102.jpg PXL_20210704_185040736.jpg PXL_20210704_192532025.jpg

Yes. You are using the "canvass" methods, then you just trace out the outline going that route .
