Ayup. They were better when it was Time Warner Cable but things went south when Spectrum bought em out. If they didnt give me a 2 year rate lock I wouldve gone with Northstate.

Yea they suck. It's them or satellite up here, and well I like internet and tv when a cloud or a bird flies over so I'm stuck LOL!!

The spectrum tech was cool as hell though. Getting him out here was a PITA though...

I once had the opposite happen.

I signed up for Comcast internet. They insisted on scheduling a tech to come set up. I had my own modem and a brain, so I plugged everything and set it up myself. Called them to cancel the setup appointment and they couldn't compute that I had everything working... they thought I was trying to cancel the service.

So I went ahead and cancelled, knowing that I could get RCN instead.

Then Comcast insisted that I had to return the modem. I never asked for a modem, they never sent me a modem, and as far as they were concerned I never even had working internet service... but I still had to dig up the receipt to convince them that I didn't need to return anything.

Back to the grind today.. Literally will be grinding out the two rear holes on the aluminum skid plate to be notched. It just doesn't line up the way I like to run it without spacers. Having it mounted flush against the dropped diff cross member instead of using gives me back 1" of ground clearance.

I'll turn the two holes at the bottom into U-shaped slots so I can slide the plate on 1/2 way tightened bolts before I swing it up to mount the front 3 bolts. I like the looks of it and want to keep it.

Done. Both sides. Much easier to install now.

@Empty_Lord my 2015 Camry v6 xse just crossed over 70k and I assume it's due for a timing belt soon, how hard of a job is it? Any special tools or anything needed?

Trying to decide if it's worth doing this at home or taking it somewhere.

Camry v6? 3.5? That’s a chain. Lasts the life of the engine.

Air quality in our neighborhood this morning is off the scale bad, worse than when the mountains were burning last summer less than a mile away lol. Guess we're staying inside today

@eon_blue its the closest gas station to this spot, and a long ways off the beaten path.

Correcting my pinion angle today. Digital angle finders are a good thing.
