What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

If the kit was out when i got my truck, I'd probably do the same thing. I got my trd sport last year in may.

 

Threw the truck bed couch in the back and watched the fireworks on the river with the family.

 

Installed a Yakima MegaWarrior with the extension on my CXHD cap. Wanted it to take photos from, lay down in and clear out some bed space on long trips (which I do a lot of).

Removed the rear seats and reinstalled the moulding on the rear wall. I never use the rear seats and wanted to make up for the added weight of the roof basket.

Ordered a pair of KC Evo Flex 4 for a ditch mount.

 

MESO Customs Black Vent Rings. Still waiting for the rest of the chrome delete stuff to be in stock and hoping for the MT cup holder surround. AND, I finally got around to obtaining some rock lights, so my MESO Customs BD Third Brake light is now installed and AWESOME!

 

I’m loving that color. Great looking truck!

 

I've been thinking about a rack. I have a long bed. Yours looks to be meant for a long bed. Is it Aluminum? That's what I would buy for mine. Spendy buggers though.

Very well done! Congrats on the new rig! How’d you get the KDMax Tune? I just gotta find someone on social media in my area? Like a needle in a haystack for someone as bad at social media as I am but I got OVTune a few years back and I gotta move on to the KDMax or Chan

Install is super easy, there are just SO MANY different ways to do it. I'd recommend checking out some other member's install guides to help decide which route works best for you. I ultimately completely removed my old housing, spliced into the wire harness for the bulbs, loomed it all up and plugged it back in. Then I used liquid gasket to help seal everything back up. There's been some pretty decent rain since then and so far, so good.

Washed and waxed for the summer. It sure was a hot one, I should have started earlier.
Then appied this decal

 

All I did was talk to the dealership. I guess build date was 7/2, and it should be 4-6 weeks until I can get my truck. feeling pretty fortunate if that's the case, I guess SR V6 double cabs are pretty rare.

 

Put the bike rack on today and did a 12 mi ride with the wife. It was a but humid but otherwise a nice ride.
