South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

Does anybody local have the cable and software to program TPMS sensors? Debating breaking the bead and getting the numbers so I can get them synced and turn this light off that’s been on for like 2 years

 

Are you still out at Ft Jackson? If so, you can swing by my work one afternoon. Around 5 preferably so I'm available. We have a TPMS tool or we can use the Techstream.

 

That would be awesome. Not sure when I would be able to though. I get off work early in the morning… I’ll try and see if I can work something out

 

What's early in the morning? Lol. I usually get to work around 8ish.

 

I get off work at 7:30am. Do I need to break the bead and get the info off the sensors? Or can it be done while they are still installed? These sensors have never been used with this truck

 

So I have a 9500 lbs winch up for sale . It's a Smitty built knock off has upgraded 3/8
( I think ) synthetic line ( originally had to steel cable ) . Comes with a wired remote and wireless remote ( needs new battery ) will also come with the aluminum fairlead . $350 selling cheap

 

Also have a 60" hi-lift jack $100
( big boy jack ) will come with bed-rail brackets . you can somewhat see in this pic

 

I asked our shop foreman. He's not sure on Tacomas when they went from needing the numbers vs our equipment being able to scan it. So we don't know. Our later cars can be scanned and our older cars need to have the sensor number. How hard is it for you to break the bead to check?

 

Any half way decent modern tool will be able to read the sensors without the numbers. I can't speak towards your foreman because mama said...

I registered my motorcycle at 5pm on a Friday and had the new title on Wednesday. I was shocked!

That makes me mad... Like you have to have big balls to buy something and sell it in the same area not even a week later. I mean I get it after a few months maybe but that's just disrespectful .. maybe I'm adding sentimental emotions to this but why trying to flip it..

 

Wouldn’t be the first time I’ve seen someone buy something and get raged on by the wife when they get home! Might just be self preservation!
