Very well done! Congrats on the new rig! How’d you get the KDMax Tune? I just gotta find someone on social media in my area? Like a needle in a haystack for someone as bad at social media as I am but I got OVTune a few years back and I gotta move on to the KDMax or Chan

There is a list somewhere on this forum for all the tuners in NA.

 

Install is super easy, there are just SO MANY different ways to do it. I'd recommend checking out some other member's install guides to help decide which route works best for you. I ultimately completely removed my old housing, spliced into the wire harness for the bulbs, loomed it all up and plugged it back in. Then I used liquid gasket to help seal everything back up. There's been some pretty decent rain since then and so far, so good.

Washed and waxed for the summer. It sure was a hot one, I should have started earlier.
Then appied this decal

 

All I did was talk to the dealership. I guess build date was 7/2, and it should be 4-6 weeks until I can get my truck. feeling pretty fortunate if that's the case, I guess SR V6 double cabs are pretty rare.

 

Put the bike rack on today and did a 12 mi ride with the wife. It was a but humid but otherwise a nice ride.

Get it tuned. You can reverse it easier than those graphics of you need to. If you spend any money on your truck spend it on something that actually improves it. You'll thank me.

 

We went to the Outer Banks about a week ago as well. With four adults and supplies, we also required a bit of Tetris:

And to keep on the topic of mods, you can see part of my new Mountain Hatch tailgate panel in that first picture. It worked great for our tailgating activities. I also broke in my new Staun deflators and VIAIR 300P compressor to air down and up. I'm not sure that was necessary, as the Taco seemed to handle the sand well, but we were carrying a lot of weight, so I decided to air on the side of caution.
