We have too much in common to disagree haha. If you think it works that's good enough for me, maybe it does help the ring.

Wait! I thought the reason for doing this was because it makes the spindle look so sexy.

I got it through Iron Man 4x4, they have various sizes and shapes on their site. I was going to use a frontrunner but it wouldn’t fit on my bedslide. The other option is an rv or boat tank but you have to compare prices.

New window motor-- it was missing 1 bolt on the bottom holding the glass, and 2 others were only hand tight.

It works great now. Glad to have it fixed

Sorry for the pics but have taken a bunch due to the eventual build thread and i love pictures.

Bought the truck a few months ago and have had zero time to do anything as I've started a restaurant mid-pandemic and have negative time to be giving it any attention. Today I tried to do a little cleaning real quick. First I was going to remove the seats and shampoo the entire interior...as you can see...i broke the SAME BOLT on both sides of each seat...TOYOTA WE LOVE YOU...but even your interior seat rail bolts seize and rust? So now on another day I will have to drill those out and get new bolts. Needless to say that wasted a decent amount of my sunlight as i started the day late. The truck was a 1-owner 5sp 2.7l and the old man had a 'Bedrug' in the bed of the truck, at first I hated it, but since I use my truck as a truck every day...this thing is glorious. So i moved onto the bed, took the rug out to of course find all the dirt, shampood said bedrug and cleaned the bed to reveal nearly new paint in most places. Cleaned up the trim and bumpers as best i could before running into MR. Creepy Crawler.

Next week truck goes in to get some life. New plugs, oil and filter, all new belts and completely new clutch. This was purchased due to my 4th gen 4R taking a dump on me. So now, the tacoma life has chose me, and the best gen in the second best color(my opinion) has landed in my lap. Big plans for the future and hopefully i can free up time to do this work on my own, can confidently due most if not all outside of a clutch due to lack of space. Suspension and wheels(which i already have) coming soon with some bits and pieces.

    Joey

    None truck!

I believe those bolts go through under the cab, you might have luck with some penetrating oil and vice grips from the underside.
