I never wanted tequila in the first place...

 

I worked in fast food in high school. I was the night manager. The swing shift manager came by with a bottle and after we were done cleaning up, a few of us were sitting around drinking that shit out of salad cups. At the time, I didn't have a car so was on my bicycle and still had to get to the bank to make the daily deposit. I made that but the best part was the next day, the bank misplaced the bag and needless to say, I was getting regular calls asking where it was. Thank god the security video showed me ride up and deposit the bag. They found the bag-apparently, it slipped behind something.

You'd think I'd have learned. Nope.

 

And yet we drank how many bottles? Lol

 

I think we went through 5 bottles of tequila and a bottle of Jameson. Think is a strong word though, I don't remember Friday night that well.

 

I had a great time. It was awesome meeting some new but ugly faces. Great group of peeps. I’d post the cheers emote, but it’ll make me gag.

Me too but I had a bad feeling about it when it started raining. Just hope alcohol wasn’t involved cuz he was a minor.

 

The area wasn't as packed as expected. Camped at Bowman lake campground the first night, explored the area, and camped at Canyon Creek campground the second when we saw campfires were allowed . Campfires were not allowed at dispersed sites and some established campgrounds but ok at a handful. Swam and kayaked at faucherie lake where we saw several island-based campsites if you really can't find anything haha.

Beautiful area with a lot of great camp spots on the water. We'll definitely be back.

 

Unfortunately, the young man was intoxicated. Such a tragedy

 

Aside from the paid/reserved/gated sites at Faucherie, the entire lake is day-use only.

 

Question for everyone... Wife and I are going to a Giants game the end of the month and staying for the weekend (Fri-Sun). What would be the best area for a hotel? Wharf? Near Financial district/Union Square? Only times we have been there, we were just there for a handful of hours. Definitely not an area I am familiar with.

Trying to figure out parking too. Do I just pay the 50 a day for hotel parking, or park outside the city and try to find transportation in?

 

Don’t forget most of a bottle of that 103 proof bourbon.
