I think it's time to invest in a pen tablet for photoshop. Using a mouse is pretty clunky still.

I haven't used a mouse in years. Wacom tablet is the way to go

spoke toooo soon. debating dumping this at the bike shop or just loading up the parts cannon with a new cassette...

maybe it's time to pony up and buy a better bike anyways. this has turned into another one of "those" projects where I spend just as much time repairing things as I do using it

I haven't heard of any others but I'm sure they exist, I've had my Wacom tablet for probably 12 years now lol. I even use it when I'm not on photoshop, I'm just so used to typing and scrolling while holding the pen in my palm still. Using a mouse feels odd

I feel like this upgrade is going to leave me on a trail of dual monitors and another pc upgrade.

Well my desk currently is L shaped and I have my 3D printer on one side. Been meaning to build a cabinet for it and get it out to the garage.

that sounds like a pretty good setup. Would you have to do anything to mitigate dust in the garage?

I've been rocking an Ikea desk for years and have been wanting something nice but I always get overwhelmed by the shopping process and sticker shock

dude, I'm on a 27" iMac monitor at work, and when I have the browser fully extended across the whole screen and I click on this picture, the full res version is so huge that the license plate is too big for the 27" monitor lol.

My desk at home is the one I had as a kid, it's small and all banged up. Got a bunch of doodling and carvings on the inside of the drawers and shit from when I was a kid. I really need a actual desk when we get a bigger place.

I sealed the garage door as much as possible but it faces the wind so it's always going to get dust. That's also why I want to build a sealed cabinet for the printer. To save the filament from moisture and keep dust/cat hair out of the printer.

I think the site will automatically scale the resolution down (like from hi res 300ppi to web-based 72ppi) but it doesn't seem to scale down dimension at all, at least not for Dan's photos that's for sure.
