Ha! Very clever! We’re only carrying various electrical converters and propane fittings.

Been there and done that. Actually shipped from Norfolk and Baltimore.
Good luck on the Journey. It'll be fun.

Thanks for the heads up. Yeah, we checked our converters and our few electrical devices and made sure that they are 120/240 compatible.

Crossing our finger that the gates will be open for us. Even though we’re fully vaccinated, not sure how Europe will deal with us since they’re way behind the US

Awesome Terry! I’m honored. Our goal is to inspire people that getting out and seeing new places isn’t as hard/costly/dangerous as people may think

Sorry for the lack of updates. Our truck was finally shipped to Liverpool, England early this month and then we, unfortunately, quickly drove across to the ferry in Dover. The EU has 90 day maximum time for US citizens to visit. After which you must leave for another 90 days. So our goal this summer is to go to Scandinavian countries. Next spring, we will explore more fully the UK and Ireland which both don’t have this 90 day restriction.

Certainly glad we put the snorkel on it!

Typical European campsite. In most of Europe wild camping is not allowed.

Did manage to spend about a week in Belgium. We were quite impressed. We recommend going to Ghent, Brugge, Antwerp, and beautiful Durbuy (above)

I love Ghent. Favorite city I've ever been to. Been there a few times now. My wife and I tried to figure out a way to live there for a while.

Hope you had some cuberdons and some good beer.

The Ouachita is a favorite spot of mine, we go there several times a year. Oklahoma side mainly, but last trip we started exploring a bit of the Arkansas side of the forest a bit.

Darn, we missed having some cuberdons but we did have some wonderful chocolates, the Landrover was the best.

When we were there it was near perfect temps, got to be a lot warmer and muggier now. I wish we could have spent more time poking around but had a family wedding to get to.

I get it. I've built two family houses myself and I'm planning on building a final one after we get back in a few years. Still haven't decided what state to build it in though. Haha!

BTW, just filled up the truck which needed 100 liters/roughly 26 gallons and cost over $200!

Luckily we're averaging over 14 mpg and are driving less than 100 miles a day

During our year of traveling around much of the US we were fortunate enough to visit 42 of the 63 US national parks. This is on the back wall inside the camper.PXL_20210717_095942617.jpg

    PXL_20210717_095931969.jpg

We're still planning on seeing them all but will come a bit slower as we're enjoying ourselves in Europe

That's a horrible idea. What time?
When I was in Okinawa, I had to do both! Was a little confusing at the start. When I got home on leave, I pulled into the wrong (empty) lane with my brother in the car. Only made that mistake once.

On a cruise we took, the cruise director said one of the questions he gets too often is "Does the ship run under it's own power? No. We drag a power cord between ports."
