Nice. I ripped one of my weather strips drilling, punch would have been better. I ended up cutting and piecing them in and used a dab of silicone to hold them down. One thing I wish I would have done on install is paint the spacers black. Looks great on mgm.

Does anyone know if you can buy crossbars only? Or do prinsu crossbars fit the Martin rack?

Looks great! Lowering the wind deflector as close as you can get it to the roof will reduce wind noise. Adding a piece of door edge guard rubber trim will help further. You don’t want it touching /rubbing the roof, but very close and you won’t hear much wind from it.

Nice! Same molding I used on mine. I have my wind deflector on the lowest setting like yours and also slanted slightly so it’s just off the roof. I had it barely touching initially and got a little scuff from the rubber. As long as it’s just off the roof and close as you can get it it’s impressively quiet for a rack. A lot quieter than the rack I had on my 4runner.

Mine is a 40” if that helps at all.

Just got mine delivered today and installed it after work. Pretty happy so far with how it turned out, definitely gotta give Gage props for answering my questions as I shopped around.
What all did you guys do to weather seal the bolts? I ended up putting silicone on the bottom of the spacers and on the bolt threads.
I'm having second thoughts that I should pull the bolts tomorrow and fill those spacers with silicone and then reinstall since I feel water and snow might just sit inside them come Canadian winter and Spring. Thinking of getting a Plano box for the top of it come hunting season when I don't have too use over half of its space for my fishing kayak.

I believe you just need a Hershey kiss sized glob of silicone over the hole then set the spacer and thread the bolt. I believe the holes are sealed at the bottom, ie they don’t just go to the headliner. Mine has stayed dry with torrential rains so far.

Anyone who has used J-hook style kayak holders, did you have to modify the mounts to go on the crossbars? I know they are designed for more oval crossbars, just wondering if I will lave to do some fabricobling.

Some aftermarket J-hooks are made to accommodate oval and square style crossbars. If not, you can always swap out the bottom bracket for square ones. I've made a set of adapter plates for mine that I keep mounted pretty much all summer long. They're pretty simple but if you'd like a set shoot me a DM!

My rack came in yesterday and got it installed last night. Looks awesome! Does anyone happen to know what the bolt size is for the ones on the wind fairing?
